Her Fragility - A Japan x OC story part 10

Here's part 10. Just in time for Easter! There are hints of the following couples; AustriaxHungary, NorwayxSvalbard, ItalyxIbiza, SpainxSkye, LithuaniaxDolly, EnglandxJersey and RussiaxMarissa. The disclaimer this time will be done by the main couple of the story: Cherry and Japan! Take it away, you two.

Cherry: *turning bright red: Shut up, Manga!
Me: What? It's true. You two are so cute together!*Cherry passes out in embarrassment*
: Now rook what you did, Manga-san! You made Cherry-chan faint! You must take responsibirity! She courd've gotten a concussion!

Today's meeting went differently than usual. Because it was the final meeting of the season. Just in time for the summer too. After it ended, some of the countries stayed behind.

"Yo, dudes! We should totally go out for karaoke!" America yelled.

"Like, that is a great idea, broski!" Poland agreed.

"Only if I get to bring Marissa, da? That woman is a living sunflower" Russia bargained.

"Yeah, sure, dude" America replied, shaking.

"Dolly's eldest sister? Marissa's not scary, broski"  Poland asked.

"She is when she's dealing with Natalya. But Natalya does tend to listen to Dolly. I don't know how she did it but she did" Lithuania muttered.

"Then we bring Dolly along too, broski Liet, like, has quite the crush on Dolly!" Poland stated.

"Feliks, stop it" Lithuania cried, turning a dark red.

"We should invite Kiku's little crush too, aru!" China cheered.

"Si! Let's invite Cherry!" Ibiza giggled.

"Ve~! It will be-a so much-a fun!" Italy agreed.

"Yao, what are you up to now?" Svalbard asked, raising an eyebrow at China as she looked over at the group from her arm wrestle with Norway. Even when distracted, she still managed to beat him.

"You'll see, aru" China said smugly.

"If you're going to cause trouble, Yao, forget it. You won't be coming" England scolded.

"Aww, come on, Artie. Don't be so strict. Save that for later" Jersey said playfully.

"Alison! You're a lady so act like one" England harshly whispered to Jersey, blushing furiously.

"Make me, Captain!" Jersey retorted.

America laughed as England blushed harder.

"There's nothing wrong with bringing humans, si? I'm bringing Skye with me" Spain pointed out cheerfully.

"Cherry's twin? About hey-high, blue eyes, dresses wacky and always running off her mouth like a certain American does?" Svalbard asked.

"Oui, Skye's our friend" France agreed.

"You zree, friends vith a human woman? Since vhen?" Germany asked.

"We met her at the Soldier's Sword" France stated with a smirk.

"Si, we backed her up after we saw some idiota grope her ass" Spain explained.

"Instead of tolerating it, she vent off on ze guy. It vas awesome!" Prussia laughed.

Hungary smacked Prussia in the face with her trusted frying pan.

Austria smirked. "Zat's my liebe (love)" he stated.

Hungary smiled. "Thank you, my dear husband" she giggled.

"See, Hazel? Elizaveta is still willing to call Roderich her husband" Norway teased Svalbard.

"I won't call you that" Svalbard snarled through gritted teeth.

"You will one day, min kjære (my dear)" Norway stated with a smirk when he saw his 'wife' blush.

~ Timeskip to the actual karaoke bar ~

Soon the countries and the four humans arrived at their location. They bought drinks as well. They settled down in the largest booth that Japan had reserved.

Dolly sat between Lithuania and Poland. Belarus flamed on about how no one let her sit next to either Russia or Dolly. Dolly tried her best to calm Belarus down.

Russia took a seat next to Marissa and Ukraine.

Skye sat with the Bad Touch Trio, having a drinking contest with them and singing '99 bottles of beer' loudly and very badly. America and Denmark joined in.

Japan made sure Cherry sat between him and Germany. To keep her out of the hands of certain, drunk nations he knew would take advantage of her. He was not going to let that happen to her.

Italy and Ibiza had just done a silly duet of the song 'That's Amore', falling about in giggles.

"Now it's Cherry's turn!" a very drunk Skye yelled.

"Excuse me?!" Cherry cried, turning bright red.

"Yeah, aru! I heard you had a pretty voice, aru!" China agreed.

"But...!" Cherry tried to protest.

"Just do it so they'd leave you alone" Hong Kong stated.

Cherry sighed in defeat as she shyly walked over to the machine. Little did she know, China and Skye had pre-picked the song for her. To her relief, it was a Vocaloid song, one of her many favourites. It was translated to English but she chose to not let it bother her.

Realisation suddenly dawned onto Cherry, the black elegant microphone fell out of her hand. Someone had picked this song on purpose! Her face, which had started off a light shade of pink, had now flushed a dark red. She knew who had tricked her. "Damn it, Skye" she muttered, hiding her face in her hands.

Skye was laughing manically with her three friends who were congratulating her for her plan. She had always thought that Cherry was taking too long to confess to Japan so she had tricked her twin sister into singing a song that was also a love confession.

Japan went a dark red as well, upon realising this too. Was someone trying to set him and Cherry up? Didn't anyone even bother to ask him whether or not he had a plan of his own to confess to the young woman who had captured his heart?

'China is definitely not getting away with this' many of the countries thought.

Japan then saw that Cherry was about to cry. So he quickly went over to her and led her out of the room by the hand. No one else was in the corridor, it seemed.

Cherry blinked in surprise at Japan's actions, even though her blush had calmed down slightly. 'Kiku-kun? I've never seen him act like this before. My heart's still pounding. I didn't want to tell him now. Not like that. I wanted to tell him at the Tanabata Festival. That would've been the right time to confess' she thought in shock.

Japan stopped and turned to face Cherry. "Forgive me, Cherry-chan, but I had to get you out of there" he apologised as he let go of her hand.

"I-it's okay. T-thank you for saving me again" Cherry stammered.

"Cherry-chan. Did you mean it?" Japan asked.

Not trusting her voice, Cherry merely nodded as her blush darkened to an impossible shade of red. "Yes, I do. I've felt that way for a long time" she managed to admit, unable to stop herself trembling. She lowered her head and looked away, waiting for Japan to answer.

Japan let a soft smile show as he came closer, taking Cherry's face in both hands and gently tilted her head so she would have to look at him. "I'm grad you do, Cherry-chan. I rove you more than anything. I have since the moment I met you" he admitted.

"Eto, nani? (Um, what?)" Cherry asked in Japanese.

"You're the onry one arrowed in my personar space, Cherry-chan. Wirr you be my koibito? (sweetheart)?" Japan asked.

Cherry smiled. "H-hai, but we go at our own pace, no rushing into things we'd regret" she replied. She gasped when Japan suddenly hugged her then hugged him back.

"Of course we wirr. Aishiteru, my sakura (cherry blossom)" Japan whispered before placing a soft kiss on Cherry's forehead.

"Aishiteru, Kiku-kun" Cherry replied.

The entire East Asia family spied on the newly established couple through the glass.

"Yay, big brother finally has a girlfriend now" Taiwan giggled, applauding quietly so Japan and Cherry wouldn't catch her.

Thailand smiled. "It's so good that everything worked out" he said sweetly.

Vietnam managed the smallest smile possible.

Even Hong Kong cracked a smile for his older brother.

Macau smiled brightly. "Good for big brother" he congratulated.

China had a big grin. "So cute, aru! They've gone red, the colour of luck and happiness, aru" he laughed.

South Korea was too busy doing a karaoke of Promise to even notice this and go to interrupt the couple.

North Korea sighed. "Even though he's defying an ultimate law for once in his goody-two-shoes life, Hyung-nim looks really happy with noona" he said to himself.
